Mustard Greens - Growing Greens

Mustard greens are quite easy to grow. They are self seeding and fast to mature..

They taste best when they are young and tender.

If soil is quite rich, a crop of mustard greens can be grown in 25 to 40 days from the time seed is planted.

You can plant in rows or beds, but the row method is usually better.

Mustard greens grow best in full sun and cool weather.

Separate plantings about a week apart for a continuous supply of greens.

Make spring plantings in February, March, and April; fall plantings in September and October.
