These slow cooked barbecue pork chops are grilled to perfection, serve them with steamed brown rice and a vegetable kabob made of green and red peppers, vidala onions and cherry tomatoes.
Have pork chops cut 1- 1 1/2 inch thick.
Put on charcoal fire and sear on both sides,
then move to cool end of grill and let fire slow down.
If possible, cover and smoke at 200 degrees.
Brush top side with barbecue sauce. Turn every 5 minutes and cook 30-45 minutes.
Barbecue Pork Chops
8 1/2 inch pork chops
Garlic pepper
Barbecue sauce (your favorite)
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Rub garlic pepper on pork chops and place in 13 x 9 x 2 glass baking dish.
Pour barbecue sauce on pork chops. Spread to cover all pork chops.
Bake uncovered for 1 hour and 10 minutes. During last 10 minutes lower oven to 350 degrees and
baste chops with sauce every 2 minutes.
